Beyonce Talks Career, Motherhood With Piers Morgan
'I always said I'd have a baby at 30,' singer says in new interview.

It's B Day. Today is the day that Beyoncé finally drops her new album, 4. And on Monday night, with less than a day until her album's release, the singer sat down with CNN's Piers Morgan to open up about this latest installment in her life.
The pair kicked off the conversation by talking about Beyoncé's Glastonbury Festival set just a day before. "Well, you know, I'm still walking on the clouds, I'm still kind of shocked. I think it's because I've seen Glastonbury ... and only amazing rock stars perform and it's the coolest festival," she gushed. "[To] be the first woman and first African-American woman ... It's a little strange when you think about it, but I'm just happy I was the first woman. Everybody was just united."
She said she was a bit nervous when she took the stage but explained that she found strength by embracing her diva status. "I do [like being a diva]! Because I've met what a diva is supposed to be, and I've met Patti LaBelle and I've met Tina Turner and I've met these incredible woman.
"[They're] graceful and talented and strong and fearless and brave and someone with humility," she continued. "And I think it's an appropriate time to be a diva."
Before Beyoncé began work on 4, she took some time off for some self-exploration. She admitted that her life had been such a whirlwind that she didn't even realize what it meant to have so many Grammys on her mantle. "I learned a lot about myself, the biggest thing is, I love to perform," she said. "I love music. I love what I do. I love singing in the studio and writing songs and coming up with video treatments. I learned balance. I learned the importance of taking time for myself."
This year Beyoncé turns 30 and she said that she's had some lofty personal goals for herself. She also addressed those ever-recurring rumors that she's pregnant. "I feel like a woman. I feel like I'm very aware of who I am. I feel great and I feel like 30 is the ideal age [to start a family], because you're mature enough to know who you are and to have your boundaries and your standards, and not be afraid, too polite — but you're young enough to be a young woman," she explained. "I'm so looking forward to it."
The singer added, "I always said I'd have a baby at 30. But I also said I'm going to retire at 30 ... Only God knows." Regardless of when she and husband Jay-Z decide to start a family, they are each other's support system, and that love is evident in her music. "Jay and I have kind of made a decision that we want to be known for our music and not our relationships or scandals. But he is amazing," she said. "I definitely had a very natural friendship and connection with him. We've been together for a very long time and I'm very happy. Love is the foundation of everything, everything I do. My music is inspired by love — from my family, my husband, my sister."

Justin Bieber's Grammy Performance Will Be 'A Crossover,' Usher Says
The 'O.M.G.' singer looks forward to sharing the stage with his protégé on Sunday night.

HOLLYWOOD — At Sunday's 53rd Grammy Awards, Usher will be pulling double duty as both a nominee and a performer. Of course, given the massive year he just completed — with the success of his smash single "O.M.G." and as a mentor to rising phenom Justin Bieber — Ush's Grammy plans seem rather fitting.
Especially since he'll be performing with Bieber (and Bieber's pal Jaden Smith), a move that's just as much about celebrating Usher's successes as it is the successes of his young protégé.
"Having been through [the Grammys] so many times, you couldn't want for anything more than for your young protégé to have the opportunity to have one, so, in support of him having his moment, I wanted to be here," Usher told MTV News on Thursday, hours before his performance at the (Belvedere) RED launch party in Hollywood. "And also to be there to perform, to kind of tell the story of how we came together. This music business has definitely been good to both of us, and this year we have a lot to be happy for."
And just how will the dynamic duo tell that story? Well, Usher wasn't about to reveal all the details, but he did say that he's hoping their performance will show another side of Bieber ... a side most tend to overlook.
"The performance will be fun," Usher explained. "We want to get up there and just do what we do. Be comfortable, and have a great time. ... This is kind of a crossover for Justin. Having performed on so many different stages, this is the way that I wanted him to be seen and an opportunity to show the industry — a lot of the industry, that didn't believe [in him] — some of his other talents. He's going to play acoustically, and also, we'll get down a little bit."
And though Ush is up for a pair of Grammy awards on Sunday — Best Male R&B Vocal Performance and Best Contemporary R&B Album for Raymond v. Raymond — he's most looking forward to sharing the stage with Bieber and giving fans a look at where the young artist will be heading next.
"I'm very proud, man. I definitely saw it from the beginning, but thanks to the team that we have around us, it was made to happen. And that story has only just begun," Usher said. "The story of Justin Bieber doesn't stop with screaming girls; we need screaming fans all around the world ... a cultural experience that's much more than just fanfare. And that's what this is. That's what the Grammys will be; that's what my next phase for Justin is. This is the way I found him: I found him with a guitar in his hand, so I want him to be seen that way."
Don't miss "Snooki & Sway: Live From the Grammys," a red-carpet live stream kicking off Sunday at 6 p.m. ET on MTV.com. And stick with us all Grammy night for coverage of the red carpet, the show, the afterparties and beyond!

Rosie & Jason: Lunchtime Lovers
Enjoying a romantic midday meal for two, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and beau Jason Statham were spotted leaving a New York City restaurant earlier today (June 29).
Stopping to chat with pal Michelle Rourke along the way, the casually-clad couple continued onward with their leisurely Big Apple day following a late night at the "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" premiere the previous evening.
In related news, it looks like Jason may need to watch his lady, as she has revealed her major infatuation with Prince Harry, "I'm waiting for my [marriage] proposal. I keep writing. I think he knows how obsessed I am. He does now," the Rosie dished while on her "Live! with Regis and Kelly" visit yesterday (June 28).
The 24-year-old model continued her plea to the handsome Brit, jokingly urging, "Come on Harry!"

Harry Potter, Severus Snape Soar In Early World Cup Voting
Hermione Granger is also dominating in the first round of the MTV News tournament.

Don't pooh-pooh Filius Flitwick! That's just one of the lessons coming into focus little more than 24 hours into the epic showdown we call the "Harry Potter" World Cup.
Though the diminutive master of Charms nabbed just a 10 seed in our monthlong tournament, in which fans have been voting online to choose the greatest character in the fantasy franchise, Professor Flitwick has raced out to a commanding first-round lead over his fellow Hogwarts colleague, and number-seven seed, Sybill Trelawney. But voting in the initial round doesn't close until midnight on Monday, meaning there's more than enough time for Trelawney fans to divine a whole lot of votes in her honor.
Other contests seem less prone to an upset. Honestly, what are the chances Harry Potter himself, facing off against Dark Arts devotee Quirinus Quirrell, gets an unexpected first-round ouster from the World Cup? As of this writing, the boy wizard has wrangled more than 95 percent of the vote. His pal Hermione Granger, meanwhile, has garnered more than 98 percent of the vote in her battle with often-salacious journalist Rita Skeeter.
See photos of all of the "Potter" World Cup players.
But that was all to be expected. Early voting has also shown us some characters that could become Cinderella stories. Dobby the House Elf, the adorable rascal who made the ultimate sacrifice to save Harry and company, shot out to a maybe-we-should-call-it-now lead over Gryffindor half-blood Dean Thomas. Maybe now it's time for Dobby, who's always been the servant until now, to lead a fan-supported charge. Yet the floppy-eared elf could well run up against Severus Snape, who himself is dominating a first-round matchup with Death Eater spawn Vincent Crabbe, in the Sweet 16.
Snape, as "Potter" buffs know, has one of the most complex and satisfying character arcs in the entire series. Only Dobby, we presume, stands between him and an Elite Eight showdown with Harry. That's the main action in the Privet Drive quadrant of the bracket. Over in Godric's Hollow, while Hermione is busy wiping the floor with Rita, the phoenix Fawkes is straight up embarrassing poor Nearly Headless Nick. But voting in Albus Dumbledore's game hasn't even started. If you ask us, anyone who thinks someone like Dark Arts defender Remus Lupin is going to stand in the way of a Hermione vs. Dumbledore Elite Eight face off is crazy.
See the full bracket and vote!
Things haven't even gotten started on the other side of the bracket. There's a whole lot of Weasley brawling going on in the Hogsmeade section, not only with Ron securing the top seed but with Arthur cruelly conjuring up a war with his son Percy. But all that may become background noise once Cedric Diggory (memorably, if briefly, portrayed onscreen by one Robert Pattinson) gets in on the action. Even Ron Weasley, he who won the heart of Hermione, might not be able to take down the "Twilight" heartthrob. Voting kicks off Wednesday.
And then in Diagon Alley, we find perhaps the tournament's most competitive corner. Count 'em off: Lord Voldemort, Draco Malfoy (whose Tom Felton has collected two straight MTV Movie Award Best Villain wins), Sirius Black and his murderer, Bellatrix Lestrange. About the only thing we can predict at this point is that Lord V is going to freaking destroy Moaning Myrtle, who might need a new nickname soon. Voting in these matches begins on Thursday.
Who is the best "Harry Potter" character of all time? The "Harry Potter" World Cup will find out! Voting is going on now over on the MTV Movies Blog, and you can also get the debate going on Twitter with the hashtag #mtvpottercup.

Shia LaBeouf Explains His Kid Cudi Connection
'Transformers' star says he ended up directing Cudi's 'Maniac' and 'Marijuana' videos because of mutual friend Cage.
By Kara Warner, with reporting by Josh Horowitz
From the outside looking in, the friendship and working partnership that actor Shia LaBeouf and rapper Kid Cudi have established recently seems only slightly unlikely. However, upon closer examination of Cudi's track record in working with Hollywood types, and LaBeouf's relationship with "Maniac" featured performer Cage, their collaborations on two of Cudi's videos, "Maniac" and "Marijuana," isn't that unexpected.
When MTV News caught up with LaBeouf recently as he promoted "Transformers: Dark of the Moon," we asked the aspiring director how the Cudi/Cage/LaBeouf magic began with music, and how it ended with a trip to Amsterdam's infamous Cannabis Cup.
"[Cage] is one of my good friends. Cage, Chris Palko, and I had been trying to make a movie about him for a while," LaBeouf explained. "Cudi hit [Cage] up and did a song with him. Cage sent me the song, called 'Maniac,' so initially, we started prepping this video, which is really like a short horror movie that I made that comes out on Halloween," he said. "In the interim, while we were finishing up the effects on it, [Cudi] told me he was going to Amsterdam for the Cannabis Cup."
LaBeouf jumped at the chance to continue working with Cudi, and joked that a trip to the legendary land where cannabis is legal was too good to pass up.
"It's as big as Spielberg," he said with a laugh. "It is for a 25-year-old male who has all these crazy fantasies about Amsterdam, which every male my age has, there's that college trip you always want to take," he admitted. "And to do that with Cudi when he's a judge, and I get to roll with him with my 8mm camera [like] an 'Easy Rider' documentarian, I felt like Cameron Crowe or something."
Despite all the references to the drug, that trip and the clip that came from it are Cudi's send-off to smoking weed.
"It was almost like an R.I.P. video to my whole smoking career," Cudi told MTV News of the "Marijuana" clip earlier this month.
What do you think of Shia teaming up with Kid Cudi? Let us know in the comments!

Incubus Explore 'Stark Simplicity' In 'Promises, Promises' Video
Band's new clip is an artfully subtle affair, much like their new album, If Not Now, When?
By James Montgomery

Incubus' brand-new "Promises, Promises" video is a thing of beautiful simplicity — little more than the band performing in and around projected images, dancing lights and slowly undulating colors.
To say it's a departure from the rocket-launcher guitars and skittering electro frippery of their past is a bit of an understatement; then again, pretty much everything about Incubus these days — especially their upcoming If Not Now, When? album — is a departure.
An intentional one, of course. Which is part of the reason they chose "Promises" as the proper first single from When?, which is due July 12. It represents everything they hoped to achieve with the new album.
"It's about whittling down the process to really simple forms, finding real beauty in stark simplicity, allowing for space to be as big a part of the music as the notes," guitarist Mike Einziger told MTV News. "This album feels spacious to me, there's a lot air in the album. In our previous albums, we've tried to fit as many notes as humanly possible into the music and I think the idea of writing something that can stand on its own was a core theme of the album."
And those ideals extended to frontman Brandon Boyd's lyrics too. In "Promises," he tells the story of a woman who shields herself from the world through barriers, both real and imagined. In the video, they're represented in the form of projections that envelop the band — but in the song itself, well, they're mostly alluded to. Which was Boyd's goal all along.
"I realized that the greatest challenge was in saying more in less space, with less notes, less lyrics. Can you create a thought that can shatter something, or shake somebody up, without having to spell the whole thing out for them?" he said. "You introduce these ideas and then create gaps, so there's a lot of space on this record. And, this is just my humble opinion, but I think there is a grace to this album, that we've never really stumbled onto before, and I think I'm the most excited because of that."

New York's Same Sex Marriage Bill Gives Hope To California Residents
'California needs to catch up,' one gay-marriage supporter says.
By Kara Warner

LOS ANGELES — As the celebrations continued in New York on Saturday (June 25) for the passage of the same-sex marriage bill, many Americans were just waking up to and learning of the news. Expressing similar ecstatic emotions to those expressed by New Yorkers, many California residents spoke to MTV News about their enthusiasm for the bill's passage.
"I think it's the next step for states," John Stoeckly told MTV News after New York became the sixth and most populous state to legalize same-sex marriage. "I think people should be happy about it. I think California is probably going to be the next state that makes that step."
"You love who you love, you can't really help that," Samantha Capatosto said of her support for same-sex marriage. "I think it mean that they don't let people get married, my aunt can't get married, and I'm sad about that. She lives in Florida." "You can't help who you love, be with who you want to be with!" Jackie Mossberg chimed in. Both young ladies, along with friend Lauren Vigil, agreed that they feel like same-sex marriage will soon be legal nation-wide.
"All the states are slowly letting gay marriage become legal," Vigil said.
"I think [California is] kind of stubborn," Capatosto added. "But maybe it will happen."
California courts made same-sex marriage legal in 2008 before the passage of Proposition 8 that year negated the ruling. The law has been overturned by the U.S. District court and is now pending a decision by the California Supreme Court.
California resident Orlando Soria was equally excited about the news, but offered a more cautiously optimistic opinion. "It seems like it keeps going back and forth between things being legal and not legal," he pointed out. "New York is sort of a vanguard state, so it seems that the rest of the country will eventually go that direction, but we have no idea. In a year they could be like, 'Oh that's illegal again.' Part of me thinks it's very exciting for now, especially after Prop 8, but it's hard to get fully excited about this stuff because you never know what's going to happen. I don't know. I should just be excited, but at the same time I'm excited with trepidation."
Soria went on to say that the most surprising aspect of the news was learning that the bill was passed for all of New York State, not just New York City.
"New York State is kind of conservative. I lived in upstate New York for four years, and it was very different from the city," he said. "That's amazing to think that crazy conservative New York state passed something that California has yet to. It's nuts." Rebekah Nazarian's response to the news was that "California needs to catch up. Big ups to New York for taking the lead in being the biggest state to allow same sex marriage, " she said. "This is one time I don't mind being a follower, and I hope soon too California can be proud of the same beautiful accomplishment."

Lady Gaga Recalls Beyonce's Inspiration In MTV's 'Inside The Outside'
After being dropped by Island Def Jam, Gaga saw a Destiny's Child video and decided, 'I want that.'
By James Montgomery
Sometime around 2006, Lady Gaga wasn't Lady Gaga. Sure, she was using the name back then, but she was still little more than a Lower East Side oddity, not the iconic, globe-spanning superstar she has since become. And so, she was understandably elated to score a meeting — and a subsequent deal — with Island Def Jam impresario L.A. Reid.
But after a few months, for reasons never really explained, her phone calls stopped being returned and she was summarily dropped from the label. In hindsight, it was just a minor bump on her road to stardom, but at the time, Gaga was crushed. It's a pain she's never quite forgotten, as she explained in the just-premiered "Lady Gaga: Inside the Outside" documentary.
"I remember when I got dropped from my first record label, I just said, 'Mommy, let's go see Grandma,' " Gaga recalled. "And I cried on my grandmother's couch. She looked at me, and she goes, 'I'm going to let you cry for the rest of the day, and then you have to stop crying, and you have to go kick some ass.' "
Devastated, but determined, Gaga set forth to do just that. And in addition to her grandmother's words, she drew inspiration from a rather unlikely source — one that would also prove oddly prescient in the years to come.
"You know, I've never told Beyoncé this, but I remember laying on my grandmother's couch crying, and a Destiny's Child video came on," she said. "I remember watching Beyoncé thinking, 'Oh, she's a star. I want that. I want to be on MTV.' And now I'm in music videos with Beyoncé."
It's because of those early rejections that Gaga has learned to savor her success. After all, she's certainly proved her naysayers wrong.
"The commercial success that I've had has been mind-blowing," she said. "I'm the girl that everyone said 'No' and shook their head and said 'I don't get it.' "
Well, it seems that millions of people around the world "get it" now.
What was the most interesting thing you learned from watching "Inside the Outside"? Let us know in the comments!

Michael Jackson's Family Upset With James Durbin Over 'American Idol' Pepsi Quip
'We were shocked to see this,' read the Jacksons' message; Durbin tweeted an apology on Thursday.
By Gil Kaufman

Some people might argue that it's patently unfair to take rank amateurs, put them on the biggest show on TV and then expose them to potential worldwide ridicule every week. Because it's one thing to tune in to "American Idol" from your living room or play shows at the local wings joint, it's another thing entirely when you get up on that stage and open your mouth with tens of millions watching and listening.
James Durbin learned this lesson the hard way this week when he made what he thought was an innocent crack about not setting himself on fire during his pyro-tastic cover of Elton John's "Saturday Night's Alright (For Fighting)" on Wednesday night.
Asked by host Ryan Seacrest if he was worried about dancing around among the flames shooting up from the piano onstage, Durbin joked, "I have a lot of hairspray in my hair to keep it from jumping around — so much so, the one thing I was worried about was having a 'Pepsi moment.' "
The seemingly innocent crack was a reference to the 1984 on-set accident in which late pop icon Michael Jackson was badly burned during the shooting of a Pepsi commercial by some wayward pyro effects. The serious burns he suffered in the incident allegedly led to his longtime addiction to pain medication and prescription drugs.
The Jackson family was not amused by the quip and sent a statement to TMZ on Thursday.
"We were shocked to see this. It's nothing to make light of and everybody should be focusing on who was responsible for Michael's death," read the statement. Family patriarch Joseph Jackson also was reportedly miffed that "Idol" producers did not cut the comment from the West Coast feed of the show.
Durbin defended his slip-up in a tweet, which has since been scrubbed from the singer's official "Idol" Twitter feed, that explained, "For anyone talkin ... I said pepsi NOT MJ! I have no disrespect for Michael. I grew up singing his art. I guess youll take it how you want it." He later added, "Talkin about MJs passing is too soon. Making a reference to an incident 25 years ago..not too soon. The stab was at pepsi people."
It's worth noting that Pepsi's bitter rival, Coca-Cola, is the main "Idol" sponsor, a fact that Seacrest reminded Durbin of in an awkward moment after the comment on the show.
What did you think of James Durbin's "Pepsi" quip? Tell us in the comments.

Adam Lambert's 'Whole Lotta Love': The Story Behind The Cover
Glam rocker tackled the legendary 1970 Led Zeppelin song for 'American Idol' rock night.
By Gil Kaufman

Imagine a freight train speeding toward you at midnight. Or a rockslide barreling down a hill as you try to outrace it. That's the feeling of the ominous, chugging Jimmy Page riff that kicks off Led Zeppelin's 1970 Stonehenge of rock, "Whole Lotta Love." And that's before singer Robert Plant leans into one of the nastiest, ecstatic rock screams this side of the Who's "Won't Get Fooled Again."
That's the song Adam Lambert chose to sing on "American Idol" rock night Tuesday (May 5), and, needless to say, it was a challenge that the eyeliner-loving Los Angeles stage veteran was more than up for, hitting a series of high notes and rock screams that would have made Plant proud. It was a risky maneuver that paid off for Lambert, who chose a tune that came in at #75 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the "500 Greatest Songs of All Time" in 2004.
The legendary British rock act recorded the tribute to Chicago blues icon Willie Dixon during their second U.S. tour after working it out in their live show, including it on their 1969 classic album Led Zeppelin II. Like many of the songs Zeppelin performed early in their career, "Love" was a blues standard turned on its head with a heavy dose of crunching psychedelic guitar and thundering drums, courtesy of late drummer John Bonham. The song was based on a 1962 tune by another blues forefather, Muddy Waters, called "You Need Love," which was penned by Dixon.
For Zeppelin's version, Plant customized the lyrics by adding some lyrical quotes from a few other songs Dixon wrote for Howlin' Wolf, "Back Door Man" and "Shake For Me," nailing the tricky vocal in a single take. It was also inspired by 1966's "You Need Loving" from the British rock group the Small Faces, for whom Zeppelin had great affection, but they also did not credit Dixon for his part in writing the original lyrics. The song became Zeppelin's first U.S. single and their only U.S. top 10 hit. Though their manager would not let them release singles in the U.K. because he thought it cannibalized album sales, the song was finally released as the band's only British single in 1997.
Dixon sued Zeppelin over the song in 1985, claiming it borrowed too heavily from his "You Need Love," and Zeppelin reached an agreement with him, with Dixon using the money he received to set up a program that provided musical instruments for schools. A cornerstone of heavy rock, the tune -- which was the theme song for the long-running British countdown show "Top of the Pops" in the 1970s and '80s -- has been covered by dozens of artists over the years, from Tina Turner and Ben Harper to Prince, Slash, Leona Lewis, Train's Pat Monahan, the London Symphony Orchestra and Jane's Addiction.

After months and months of pre-production, including injured actors, troubles with the script and a complete overhaul, the beleaguered Broadway musical "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark" officially opened on the Great White Way on Tuesday night (June 14).
MTV News braved the rain and crowds at the Foxwoods Theater in the heart of midtown Manhattan to chat with the musical's production team about what the show's fits and starts have taught them along the way.
"It's just hard to do anything when you're trying to do something new and big and different," original director Julie Taymor said of the challenges. "If you are really trying something extraordinary, it's going to be difficult. And that's OK, because eventually you get there."
"I think what happened is that when they were in previews, they discovered that the demographic was so big, they had 6-year-old children in the audience, they had 86-year-old grandparents in the audience. They wanted to make sure the show could reach out to all of them," explained new director Philip William McKinley.
"I think we tried to make the story a bit more linear," added writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa. "But we also tried to bring the characters that fans know and love, Mary Jane, Aunt May, Uncle Ben, the Green Goblin, we tried to give them more material and go a little bit deeper on their journeys."
McKinley told a story about watching two young boys in the theater's lobby "webbing" each other after one of the preview performances, who declared it the "best Broadway show ever" and said they couldn't wait to see their next musical.
"I thought, 'Perfect, let's develop those new audiences,' " McKinley said of bringing more people into the theater experience.
"The people that we've met in the community who really care for the art, they want to see new blood, they want to see new innovation," said Bono, who wrote songs for the show with U2 bandmate The Edge. "They want to see new characters onstage, and I think we brought that."

Adam Lambert's 'Whole Lotta Love': The Story Behind The Cover
Glam rocker tackled the legendary 1970 Led Zeppelin song for 'American Idol' rock night.

'Twilight' Stars Return To Comic-Con For 'Breaking Dawn'
Summit announces cast Q&A session and 'exclusive footage' from first part of finale.

Attention, "Twilight" fans: Summit Entertainment announced Tuesday (June 14) via the "Twilight" Facebook page that "Breaking Dawn - Part 1" will play a significant role in the studio's presentation at San Diego Comic-Con this year.
"The studio will host one of the first panels of the day in Hall H on Thursday, July 21st dedicated to 'The Twilight Saga' franchise," Summit's statement reads. "Fans interested in the story's final chapters will be shown exclusive footage from 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1' and be treated to a filmmaker and cast Q&A session providing details on the first half of the epic two part finale, in theatres November 18, 2011."
We don't know which castmembers will be in attendance yet, but because July 21 is still a ways away, we imagine Summit will release a few more details as the epic comic and pop-culture convention approaches.
For those who have been following "Twilight" since the beginning, you will likely remember that Comic-Con 2008 was the first time the cast appeared together in public, creating a frenzy so big and shocking that other media outlets in addition to MTV News finally realized how serious the fans were about the soon-to-be blockbuster and its stars.
In 2009, the stars were back for more, and their popularity had grown considerably, leading to mile-long lines outside Hall H, where their panels were to take place. The three lead actors — Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner — admitted that the convention was still an intimidating place. The rest of the massive cast was also on hand for a series of appearances around San Diego, along with unveiling a slew of "New Moon" and "Twilight"-specific merchandise.
Last year, Comic-Con was without any major "Twilight" action since "Eclipse" had been released already and production on "Breaking Dawn" had yet to begin.
So what will happen this year?
Check out everything we've got on "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1."

Roger Ebert Slammed for Ryan Dunn Drunk Driving Tweet
Shortly after the news broke that 34-year-old Jackass star Ryan Dunn was killed in a car crash (along with a passenger now identified as Zachary Hartwell, 30) in West Goshen County, Pa., early Monday morning, fans and friends -- including Johnny Knoxville -- took to Twitter to share their sadness. Film critic Roger Ebert, however, caused quite the Internet uproar when he posted a link to a news story that mentioned that Dunn had been out drinking in the hours leading up to the car wreck, and then tweeted: "Friends don't let jackasses drink and drive."
The post drew immediate criticism, most notably from Dunn pal and Jackass costar Bam Margera and from gossip blogger Perez Hilton.
"We understand what he's trying to say, but still -- this is extremely insensitive!" Hilton wrote on his blog. "We certainly agree that driving after drinking is wrong, we think there's no reason -- especially RIGHT NOW -- that anyone should be pointing fingers or poking fun at a truly tragic situation. Everyone makes mistake, and this is somebody's son. Too soon, Roger."
Margera was less diplomatic, raging at Ebert on his Twitter feed: "I just lost my best friend, I have been crying hysterical for a full day and piece of sh** roger ebert has the gall to put in his 2 cents." Margera continued, "About a jackass drunk driving and his is one, f*** you! Millions of people are crying right now, shut your fat f***ing mouth!!"
Ebert stood his ground in the following chaos, noting that comments to Hilton's blog post showed that most readers took Ebert's side in the fracas. Ebert tweeted again, "Perez Hilton's readers agree with me and not with Perez about my tweet on Ryan Dunn. He drank, he drove, 2 people died."
With his comments drawing mounting Internet furor (and even getting him temporarily kicked off Facebook!), Ebert took to his Chicago Sun-Times blog on Tuesday to address the controversy, clarify his statements and to offer his condolences to the Dunn and Hartwell families. "I also regret that my tweet about the event was considered cruel. It was not intended as cruel. It was intended as true," Ebert writes. "I have no way of knowing if Ryan Dunn was drunk at the time of his death. What I knew before posting my tweet was that not long before his death, he posted a photo on Tumbler showing himself drinking with two friends."
That much is certainly true, though the photo -- which shows Dunn, Hartwell and another friend drinking beers at the Philadelphia bar Barnaby's of America -- has since been taken down. Reports on Dunn's condition before he left the bar differ: One source told TMZ that Dunn had three beers and three "girly shots" over a four hour period, and "was not too drunk to drive"; another source, however, said Dunn was "wasted." The manager of the bar agreed with the former assessment, telling CNN, "(Dunn) didn't seem to be intoxicated at the time he left. Ryan was not a hardcore drinker, at least not when he was here."
At the time of Ebert's controversy-inciting tweet, the West Goshen Police Department had also already released a statement saying that "speed may have been a contributing factor to the accident." Authorities have estimated that Dunn's Porsche 911 may have been traveling at speeds in excess of 100 m.p.h. when the automobile crashed through a guardrail, slammed into a tree and burst into flames, killing Dunn and passenger Zachary Hartwell (a stuntman and production assistant on Jackass 2).
In his post, Ebert goes on to apologize for the tweet, but defends the essence of what he was saying. "I don't know what happened in this case, and I was probably too quick to tweet. That was unseemly," he writes. "I do know that nobody has any business driving on a public highway at 110 mph, as some estimated -- or fast enough, anyway, to leave a highway and fly through 40 yards of trees before crashing. That is true in any event. It is especially true if the driver has had three shots and three beers. Two people were killed. What if the car had crashed into another car?"
Ebert closes out the post with a toned-down version of his initial tweet: "Friends don't let friends drink and drive."
