No hay más Led Zeppelin

By

</P><P> </P><P>¿Y a ti? ¿Qué te parece todo esto?</p>

Olivia Munn A 'Voyeur' On The 'Magic Mike' Set

Munn especially loved co-star Matt Bomer's bum: 'I just want to make wishes on it, it's so beautiful.'

There's so much man meat in the "Magic Mike" trailer that it's easy to forget that there are actual ladies in the June film.

Sure, "Mike" stars Channing Tatum, Matt Bomer, Matthew McConaughey, Alex Pettyfer and Joe Manganiello — we know, you need a second to catch your breath — but the Steven Soderbergh-directed flick also boasts some talented ladies, including Olivia Munn.

When MTV News caught up with the actress — who was being honored by Us Weekly as a "sexy tomboy" at the mag's Hot Hollywood event — she opened up about being around all those guys and loving each and every minute of it.

"I think on set, with all these guys, I'm not a sexy tomboy; I'm not a tomboy; I'm not anything," she said. "I'm just a voyeur, watching them."

She then recalled hitting the set long before her call time just to gawk at the studs. "I'm on set when I'm not even working for, like, four hours, but I heard they're dancing and they're going to be naked, so I'm gonna be here early watching. So that's what I am on set: more the voyeur watching."

As for all the smooth moves, she shared that the film's star — Magic Mike himself, Channing Tatum — might be the smoothest. "He's truly, truly talented, and he's so fun to watch, and it's so sexy as well," she said. "And then the person I was really impressed with was Matt Bomer, 'cause I didn't know he could dance. He's got this juicy butt. Like, I just want to make wishes on it, it's so beautiful."

Zac Efron Reveals Best Music For Setting The Mood

'Phil Collins,' 'Lucky One' star deadpans to MTV News.

In a discussion of the finer aspects of the recently released romantic drama "The Lucky One" with stars Zac Efron and Taylor Schilling, one of the most entertaining subjects to come up revolved around prolific romance author Nicholas Sparks, author of the novel upon which the film is based. Specifically, we wondered whether Efron and Schilling had ever experienced any Sparks-like fantasy romance scenarios in real life.

"I'm sure I've said some of those lines," Efron admitted to MTV News. "They're probably worse — not as good as the ones [Sparks has] written, but they were excellent in the moment."

"I'm sure they were great," Schilling offered. "I'm sure they worked in the moment."

"I feel like they were good," Efron said with a smile.

"It's about the right moment," Schilling added, referring to the fact that there's a perfect time and place for romantic gestures. "There have been a few sweeping gestures [in my life] but what means the most to me are the little things from the heart. There have been a few notes and well-timed flowers that mean more than anything else."

"Every once in a while when you look into each other's eyes and that music starts playing, I love that," Efron joked, which prompted us to ask a follow-up question about which song you should play when trying to set the mood.

"That's a good question. What would be your song that you would play?" Schilling asked Efron. "I have no answer."

"Phil Collins," Efron deadpanned, which sent his co-star into a fit of giggles.

"That's great!" she said, laughing. "That's a good blanket artist. It's a great answer."

"I think so," Efron said.

We can just picture it now, Efron and a very lucky lady about to lock lips with Collins' classics "In the Air Tonight" or "Against All Odds" playing in the background.

Check out everything we've got on "The Lucky One."

Adam Lambert's 'Whole Lotta Love': The Story Behind The Cover

Glam rocker tackled the legendary 1970 Led Zeppelin song for 'American Idol' rock night.
By Gil Kaufman

<P>Imagine a freight train speeding toward you at midnight. Or a rockslide barreling down a hill as you try to outrace it. That's the feeling of the ominous, chugging Jimmy Page riff that kicks off <MTVNLINK type="url" id="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/led_zeppelin/artist.jhtml">Led Zeppelin</MTVNLINK>'s 1970 Stonehenge of rock, "Whole Lotta Love." And that's before singer Robert Plant leans into one of the nastiest, ecstatic rock screams this side of the Who's "Won't Get Fooled Again." </P><P> </P><P>That's the song Adam Lambert chose to sing on <a href="/news/articles/1610708/adam-allison-shine-on-idol-rock-night.jhtml">"American Idol" rock night</a> Tuesday (May 5), and, needless to say, it was a challenge that the eyeliner-loving Los Angeles stage veteran was more than up for, hitting a series of high notes and rock screams that would have made Plant proud. It was a risky maneuver that paid off for Lambert, who chose a tune that came in at #75 on <I>Rolling Stone</i> magazine's list of the "500 Greatest Songs of All Time" in 2004. </P><P> </P><P></p><div style="margin: 0px 10px 10px 0px; float: left;"> </P><P><embed src="http://media.mtvnservices.com/mgid:uma:video:mtvmusic.com:84215" width="256" height="223" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" flashVars="dist=http://www.mtvmusic.com" allowFullScreen="true" AllowScriptAccess="always"></embed></div><p> </P><P> </P><P>The legendary British rock act recorded the tribute to Chicago blues icon Willie Dixon during their second U.S. tour after working it out in their live show, including it on their 1969 classic album <I>Led Zeppelin II.</i> Like many of the songs Zeppelin performed early in their career, "Love" was a blues standard turned on its head with a heavy dose of crunching psychedelic guitar and thundering drums, courtesy of late drummer John Bonham. The song was based on a 1962 tune by another blues forefather, Muddy Waters, called "You Need Love," which was penned by Dixon. </P><P> </P><P>For Zeppelin's version, Plant customized the lyrics by adding some lyrical quotes from a few other songs Dixon wrote for Howlin' Wolf, "Back Door Man" and "Shake For Me," nailing the tricky vocal in a single take. It was also inspired by 1966's "You Need Loving" from the British rock group the Small Faces, for whom Zeppelin had great affection, but they also did not credit Dixon for his part in writing the original lyrics. The song became Zeppelin's first U.S. single and their only U.S. top 10 hit. Though their manager would not let them release singles in the U.K. because he thought it cannibalized album sales, the song was finally released as the band's only British single in 1997. </P><P> </P><P>Dixon sued Zeppelin over the song in 1985, claiming it borrowed too heavily from his "You Need Love," and Zeppelin reached an agreement with him, with Dixon using the money he received to set up a program that provided musical instruments for schools. A cornerstone of heavy rock, the tune -- which was the theme song for the long-running British countdown show "Top of the Pops" in the 1970s and '80s -- has been covered by dozens of artists over the years, from Tina Turner and Ben Harper to Prince, Slash, Leona Lewis, Train's Pat Monahan, the London Symphony Orchestra and Jane's Addiction. </P><P> </P><P><b>Get your "Idol" fix on MTV News' <a href="/news/articles/1486475/mtv-news-american-idol.jhtml">"American Idol" page</a>, where you'll find all the latest news, interviews and opinions.</b></p>

Is A 'Game of Thrones' Romance In The Air?

'I'd hope for them to live happily ever after, but it's 'Game of Thrones,' right?' Richard Madden says of Robb Stark's romantic interest, Talisa.
By Kara Warner

Another week, another gripping, wholly enjoyable episode of HBO's hit "Game of Thrones." Forgetting for a moment the frustrating continued existence of one Joffrey Baratheon and all the rather gruesome scenes in Sunday's episode entitled "Garden of Bones," let's take a moment to appreciate one easy-to-watch scene: the meet-cute between would-be King Robb Stark and feisty nurse Talisa (Oona Chaplin).

In the midst of all the blood, battles and complicated politics, might there be room for a real romance between two characters? MTV News was lucky enough to sit down with Robb Stark himself, Richard Madden, to get the scoop on this intriguing new story line.

"Robb's in a place where it's the first time he's met a woman, it's the first time he's had his head turned. It's the first time he's been in this position as this boy-King and the first time someone doesn't bow down to him, doesn't treat him like a King, doesn't cater to all that," Madden explained of his character's interest in Talisa. "She asks him real questions, she challenges everything and makes him ask questions of himself, he's kind of blown away by that, this kind of light in the darkness. He's surrounded by all these men and by all this violence and hate and blood, and he's got this woman there who kind of looks him in the eye and talks to him in a way he's not used to and he can't help but be intrigued by that. I think in the beginning he doesn't even know his head's been turned until we're right into it."

So now we know there will at least be major head-turning, but no telling how long that will last in the twisted and dangerous world of "Thrones." When asked for his thoughts on Robb and Talisa's future as a couple, the Scot wasn't at liberty to divulge gritty details, but did mention a hope for happily ever after, however unlikely that may be.

"I'd hope for them to live happily ever after, but it's 'Game of Thrones,' right? That doesn't really happen often with anyone," Madden said with a smile.

"We're going to see a lot of changes with Robb's character this year and this woman is the first big influence that takes him away from following his head, usually his heart and his head are on the same page when it comes to decision-making and this woman takes him in a different direction and influences over the decisions that he makes and sets things on a different course with his mother as well that's a huge kind of fracture between them," he continued. "So I'm keen to see how that plays out on screen."

Do you think "Game of Thrones" is going to get romantic? Let us know in the comments!

Michael Jackson Doctor Can't Afford Lawyer For Appeal

Conrad Murray asks judge for a court-appointed attorney to appeal his involuntary manslaughter conviction.
By Gil Kaufman

<P>Just weeks after being sent to jail for <a href="/news/articles/1675062/conrad-murray-sentence.jhtml">four years</a> following a conviction on a felony involuntary manslaughter charge in the death of <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/jackson_michael/artist.jhtml" target="_blank">Michael Jackson</a>, cardiologist Conrad Murray is throwing himself on the mercy of the court. </P><P> </P><P>The doctor had been slated to earn up to $150,000 a month to act as Jackson's personal physician before the pop icon's death in June 2009 from an overdose of the Murray-administered surgical anesthetic propofol. But on Tuesday <a href="http://www.eonline.com/news/conrad_murray_in_shackles_asks/280479" target="_blank"><I>E! News</I></a> reported that Murray filed a <a href="/news/articles/1675343/conrad-murray-conviction-appeal.jhtml">notice of appeal</a> in Los Angeles Superior Court in which he claimed that he is "indigent and respectfully requests the appointment of counsel on appeal." </P><P> </P><P>Murray, 58, is planning to appeal both his conviction and his sentence, but has not yet filed papers with the California Appeals Court. He had hired two lawyers to handle his manslaughter case, but is now seeking attorneys with appeal experience. One of those former lawyers, J. Michael Flanagan, told E! that he was shocked at how his client is being treated in jail. </P><P> </P><P>"It is crazy and unbelievable how [the sheriffs] are treating" Murray in jail, said Flanagan, who claimed he waited over an hour to see Murray, who was brought out in handcuffs and leg chains. Flanagan was further shocked to see Murray handcuffed to the table for their meeting, something the lawyer said he'd never seen before in the case of a low-level, non-violent offender. </P><P> </P><P>Charles Peckham, who is handling civil cases against Murray, told the <a href="http://www.washingtonpost.com/national/doctor-convicted-in-michael-jacksons-death-seeking-court-paid-attorney-for-appeal/2011/12/13/gIQAHIYGsO_story.html" target="_blank"><I>Associated Press</I></a> that his client is under tight security and isolation that is more intense than other inmates at the Los Angeles Men's Central Jail. </P><P> </P><P>"Treating him like Hannibal Lecter is offensive," said Peckham. "This man who saved lives made a mistake, and they're going to [make] him pay like a mass-murderer." Sheriff's officials defended the tight security, saying it was for Murray's safety.</p>

Lady Gaga Taps The Darkness To Open Born This Way Ball
