Far East Movement hits such as "Like a G6" and "Girls on the Dance Floor" may be bouncy, dance-pop, but the Los Angeles foursome has scored co-signs from some major hip-hop players.

FM's major-label debut, Free Wired, was released Tuesday and boasts features from California O.G. Snoop Dogg, ATL hype-master Lil Jon and OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder, among other collabos. On the album's drop date, the Doggfather, who appears on the fellas' track "If I Was You (OMG)," sent the crew some e-love as they introduced the world to their latest project.

"Congrats to the young homies @ Fareastmovement," Snoop tweeted. "Been bumpn that Free Wired album all dizzay."

When MTV News caught up with the guys later that dizzay, Kevnish admitted they were pretty amped about the shout-out.

"He actually sent us a tweet today since our album is released today, October 12," Nish said. "Can't believe it. West Coast! Thank you, Snoop!"

Venerable Houston hip-hop vet Bun B also pumped up the group's latest effort on Twitter.

As for the sounds that music heavyweights like Snoop and Bun are currently bumpin', FM dished to MTV News earlier this year about the vibe of their music and explained that they sought to create an eclectic collection of tracks.

"It's [collaborations] all over the place, in a good way. If you were to listen to our iPods right now, that's what's on our album," Kevnish said. "Free Wired is a CD that you can put in at 6 p.m., right before dinner, till 6 a.m., right before breakfast.

"People ask, 'What genre is your music?' " he continued. "We like to say it's our lifestyle, it's our culture, it's our fashion. Free Wired means you're free to geek out, you stay wired all night, you stay connected. We'll hit up a club, then after the club we'll hit up the chat room. It's a free-wired lifestyle, fashion, sound."
